Dr. Nikki T. Sawyer obtained her PhD in Nueroscience from Emory Univeristy and is an assistant professsor at Clayton State University in Morrow, Georgia where she currently teaches various biology courses. She is an accomplished published researcher and hobby gardener who truly appreciates the wonder of life from the smallest atom to the largest sycamore. Some of Dr. Sawyer's current research focuses on studying action potentials and ion channel genes in carnivorous plants such as Venus flytraps and sundews.
